Colorectal Cancer
Men are at higher risk for colon and rectal cancer, which affects the parts of the digestive system that remove waste from the body.
Doctors recommend starting colonoscopies at age 45 to check for abnormal growths in the colon.

Prostate Cancer
Only men have a prostate, a small organ near the bladder that plays a role in the male reproductive system. Prostate cancer is most common in men over 50. Doctors recommend screening for prostate cancer starting at age 50, which is quick and can be done during a routine visit. Be sure to ask your doctor about it!
